Hilda Kent

Hilda Kent ringing number 7 bell in 1999. This was Hilda's favourite bell and she rang it for many years. Hilda rang for over fifty years and you will find her picture appearing many times in this gallery.

The background shows the other half of the clock casing. Number seven rope falls very close to the casing and ringers on that bell always have difficulty finding a comfortable position.
